D1.1 about "Data collection on CDW"

Dear Stakeholders,

RE⁴ Consortium (www.re4.eu) is pleased to share with you the final draft version of the Deliverable D1.1 “Data collection on CDW”.

RE⁴ project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 723583. RE⁴ aims to promote new technological solutions and strategies for the development of prefabricated elements with high degree of recycled materials and reused structures from demolished buildings. The main aim of the project is to develop energy efficient building produced from CDW, thus minimize environmental impacts in construction industry.

The report D1.1 outlines the current Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) management scenario in all European countries, against the background of national and/or regional waste management plans and prevention programmes. The analysis has been extended also to an extra EU country (Taiwan) with the aim to compare the situation at extra-continental level.

Before publishing it, we would like to make sure there is no missing information in the final version. For this reason, I kindly ask you to read carefully the section of this deliverable devoted to your Country:
