RE4 + GREENINSTRUCT projects common workshop within SAIE

“Sustainable Constructions: Solutions from Circular Economy”

The joint workshop of H2020 projects RE4and GREEN INSTRUCT was held in Bari, Italy on the 24th of October 2019 within the SAIE fair.

The SAIE fair offers a chance for business and networking, a place to discover the excellence of the construction chain, through courses dedicated to the key themes of innovation, seismic safety, sustainability and digital transformation.

Both projects were introduced by their coordinators, Alessandro Largo from CETMA presented the RE4 project and Xiangming Zhou from Brunel University presented the Green Instruct project.

Presentations by project partners were divided into sessions focusing on different aspects of circular economy. Circular economy in practice session included presentations about CDW recovery process, new sustainable construction materials and components and solutions tested in real environment. The session dedicated to Circularity for sustainable solutions included a round table discussion with industrial partners and the attendants of the workshop.

The presentations and round table discussion attracted many attendants of the fair and it can be considered a great success.

Thank you to everyone who participated!
